Tombstone 5K
After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, we are thrilled to partner with local running store Running Excels and the Mt. Greenwood Community and Business Association to host this family friendly 5K run and walk through the Mt. Greenwood Cemetery on 111th Street.
The Tombstone will be on Sat., Oct. 15, at 8:30 a.m. The run has a Halloween theme and costumes are encouraged! We are excited to host some of our 95th Street businesses that day for the runners and walkers to check out before and after they participate in the run/walk. Business owners who would like to contribute something for the race bag are welcome to do that as well. It can be a flier about your business, a coupon, or a trinket like a keychain advertising your business. Please contact Erin if you’d like to contribute something for the race bag. We expect to distribute 500 bags, so please plan accordingly. We will need your item by Monday, October 3rd.
